NANAIMO

We have lived in Nanaimo since 1984. Nanaimo has a great climate, beautiful scenery, a large safe harbour, great boating, a good library, a busy university, a big hospital, an excellent theatre, lots of shopping, an excellent recreation system, great schools, friendly people, lovely parks - everything we need.

We love to walk in Nanaimo's many parks - Westwood Lake, Bowen Park, Hemer, Jack Point, Pipers, Cable Bay, the Sea Wall and many others. But our favourites are those that are closest to us - Linley Valley , Newcastle Island , and Departure Bay and Sugar Loaf .
