PENNY GRANTPenny started painting in the 1970s when she lived on North Vancouver Island with her husband and young family. While living in the Cowichan Valley , she was an art student at Malaspina College (now Vancouver Island University ). She took a break from painting during her 25 years working for the Vancouver Island Regional Library and returned to painting in late 2010. Penny Maday at Island Girl Studio is her mentor. Penny Grant is currently pursuing a theme she calls Nanaimo Naturally - a celebration of Nanaimo's natural beauty. |
